We had lots of fun at our Bonfire Night 'Saturday Special.' Lots of families came to share the fun. We enjoyed the illuminations including the light-up bonfire, which the Classroom children had made, as well as exploring the dark den with twinkling lights and torches. We had fun with mark-making by painting and drawing our own colourful fireworks. We also got creative making our own sparklers with lollipop sticks and sparkly strands. There were some sensory play activities including spooning the colourful rice and making faces with the playdough. We had great fun hunting for rhyming words in the garden and everyone won a tasty treat. We filled up on some homemade chocolate apples and then it was time for some delicious baked potatoes. Yum!
